Programs & Classrooms​
Enrollment at La Casita Bilingüe Montessori School is open throughout the school year. We accept children aged 2.5 to 6 years old in our Preschool and Transitional-Kindergarten Programs. We offer an Afterschool Program to children aged 5 to 10 years old from outside schools.
We have one traditional Montessori 3-6 Classroom: our “Butterfly” class with up to 24 children aged 2.5 to 6 years old. We offer preschool and Transitional-Kindergarten. We maintain as student to staff ration of 8:1. All teachers, assistants, and staff speak English and Spanish.
Schedules & Hours
Our operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM with three available schedules: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, 2:00 PM-6:00 PM, and 8:00 AM-6:00 PM. Our Afterschool Program is for three hours per day and begins when the child arrives from an outside school. We do not provide any transportation to and from our school. Our regular school year begins late August and runs through mid-June. The school is closed on Federal Holidays, two weeks for Winter Break (December/January) and one week in the Spring. Our Spanish Immersion Summer Program is offered for a 5-week session. Children participating in the Summer Program must be 3 years of age and potty-trained.
Enrollment Process

To apply for enrollment, each family completes the following steps:

Observe our classroom.

Submit an Enrollment Application along with a non-refundable $50.00 application fee.

After the observation, call to schedule an appointment with the Director to answer questions about the program and receive full enrollment package.
Observation appointments are 30-minutes and are scheduled Tuesdays-Fridays between 10:00-11:30 AM only. The observation is an initial introduction to the classroom “in action”. Once you have submitted an enrollment application and your child is admitted into the program, we will schedule a second appointment to pick up the full enrollment package and Admission Application Agreement.
For a child to be enrolled at La Casita Bilingüe Montessori School, each child must be at least 2.5 years of age, Potty-trained, and display readiness to be in a daily, structured classroom environment with other children.
